Do you really like to read books and then talk about them with friends? You should join our Quimby Oak Book Club. We will be reading a variety of books based on the interests of the group. Our first book will be Ghost by Jason Reynolds. There will be an upcoming grab and go with the book and a few little goodies to get us started. Limited to the first 20 students to respond.

Shifting Boundaries
Shifting Boundaries
Shifting Boundaries is a YWCA led program where 8th grade students learn, discuss, plan and run a campus-wide awareness event at Quimby. The group focuses on topics including: healthy boundaries, teen dating violence, sexual harassment, and shift behavioral intentions to intervene as a bystander. This group meets once a month.
*8th graders only
Please fill out the google form to be considered for this group!

Allies in Diversity
This is a safe space to discuss adversities within specific populations, including: LGBTQ+, gender, culture, ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status, and more. As a group, we choose two community projects that promote awareness and positivity at Quimby.

A group of Quimby students will be part of our: Tobacco-Use Prevention Education (TUPE) team! TUPE is a comprehensive evidence-based tobacco-use prevention, youth development, intervention, and cessation program. The purpose of the TUPE program is to reduce youth tobacco-use by helping students make healthy decisions through tobacco-specific educational instruction and activities that build knowledge as well as social skills and youth development assets.
Sign-up: Mrs. Braga will be contacting students directly
